YOUTH

Welcome to our youth page! St. John’s puts a high priority on youth ministry and welcomes you to join us. For more info, please contact Justin our Youth Director for details about our exciting youth program at St. John’s.

Listed below is our schedule of events:

Sunday school: These classes are taught from 9:30-10:30 a.m. and held in the Activities Center. We have separate classes for High School and Middle School that are great for learning and making friends.

Ignite (UMYF): Sunday evenings from 5:45-7:30 p.m. in the Activities Center. All students in grades 6-12 are invited to attend. We have a meal, fellowship, games, and devotion. It's a great time to build friendships, meet new ones, and grow in your relationship with Christ.

Youth Bible Study: Wednesday evenings from 6:15-7:00 p.m. in the Activities Center. This is great opportunity for youth to go further in their walk with God.

Youth Choir: Sunday evenings from 5:00-5:45 p.m. and is led by Gail Elrod. This is a great opportunity for those students who are interested in choral performance and using the gift of singing to glorify God.

Confirmation: This is designed to prepare youth for full membership in the local congregation of the United Methodist Church. At the conclusion of the Confirmation Classes, the youth are given an opportunity to join or are gracefully allowed to decline if they choose not to. Regardless, the journey and experience is always meaningful for the youth.

Trips & Events: Throughout the year, we have lots of great events in which you can participate: pool parties, dodge ball tournaments, summer mission trip, concerts, local missions, and more.
