SENDING MINISTRY
Mission: to celebrate our Christian faith through helping others become better disciples by enriching their spirituality and sending them into the world to witness God's love and grace in Christ's name.
Goal: to provide every member a place to serve in this Christian church family to meet the needs of our local and extended community through involvement in health, welfare, social and inter-religious concerns.

Missions

 

  • St. John's Clothes Closet: The oldest free clothes closet in Anderson, it is currently closed for renovations. Keep checking for our anticipated reopening date!
  • Support for several other local missions, from the Anderson Sunshine House to the Free Clinic.
  • Support for missions in Russia and Brazil, short-term missions in Mexico, Honduras, Haiti and response to needs at home.
  • Youth Ministry: SouperBowl Sunday, Salkahatchee Summer Service, Summer Youth Missions.

 


GROWING MINISTRY
Mission: to provide the congregation with educational and worship experiences for spiritual enhancement.
Goal:to provide nurture and care for our members so that they may equip themselves in a loving and caring environment for the building of God's kingdom.

Mission: to serve Christ by inviting others to become disciples.
Goal: to provide persons a warm Christian community in which they can respond to their call to discipleship through a variety ofavenues for spiritual growth and Biblical understanding.
