Hopefully, our Every Member in Ministry guide will be in your hands as soon as possible. With so many details, this is taking me a little longer to gather together than I originally planned! I am doing my best to gather information on the many, many ministries we have at St. John’s. I am sure I will unintentionally overlook at least one ministry. Please take the time to call me if you feel I might not be aware of the ministry you are involved in and make sure I include it in our guide.

Our first ReMembering booklet is ready for our education leaders. Your newly minted Director of Christian Education has discovered that this booklet took a little more time to assemble than he first thought! The first booklet covers Advent. Thanks for your patience. For those who enjoy the web, it will also be viewable on our website on the ReMembering link on the Adult tab.
The long term goal of ReMembering is to have a booklet prepared and in the hands of each Christian Education leader as many as 8 weeks in advance of the Sundays it covers. In this way, each education ministry can have resources well ahead of time to use as is deemed useful for that particular group.
ReMembering will help us focus our attention as a whole church on the themes and issues Pastor Dan chooses in his preaching. These booklets will help us combine our reflection and sharing so as to strengthen our lives together as a church.
